TaxiWIS helps customers report lost items left inside a taxi, cab, airport transfer vehicle, hotel pickup vehicle, or scheduled transportation vehicle.

Left something in a vehicle?

TaxiWIS will make reasonable efforts to return lost items to customers when items are found in a vehicle after a ride. Customers are responsible for contacting us with the correct trip details, vehicle information, company name, pickup location, drop-off location, and item description.

Customers are responsible for shipping, mailing, delivery, or driver return costs if they want an item returned after leaving it in a vehicle.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking the vehicle before exiting. TaxiWIS and the cab company are not responsible for verifying that every customer has all personal belongings before leaving the vehicle.

Check Before Exiting

Customers should check seats, floors, pockets, cup holders, door areas, luggage areas, and the back seat before leaving the vehicle.

Items Are Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for verifying they have all phones, wallets, bags, keys, documents, luggage, clothing, and personal belongings before exiting.

No Automatic Verification

The cab company is not responsible for verifying that every rider has all items before the customer exits the vehicle.

Report Quickly

If you believe you left something in a vehicle, contact TaxiWIS as soon as possible with accurate ride and vehicle information.

Returning Lost Items

If an item is found, TaxiWIS may help arrange return options. Any return method may require payment by the customer before the item is shipped, mailed, delivered, or driven back.

Customers are responsible for any shipping, mailing, packaging, postage, tracking, or delivery costs required to return a lost item.

Driver Return Service

Paid Return Driver Time Distance Based

If you want a driver to bring the item back to you, the return may be charged based on the driver’s time, distance, location, and availability.

Pickup Arrangement

Scheduled Verified Item Contact Required

If available, an item pickup may be arranged after TaxiWIS confirms the item was found and provides instructions for recovery.

Information Needed For Lost & Found

When contacting TaxiWIS, include as much information as possible so we can identify the correct ride, vehicle, driver, or service provider.

Vehicle Number

Please provide the vehicle number, cab number, van number, SUV number, or any identifying vehicle information from the ride.

Company Name

Include the name of the company that provided the ride if the service was handled by a cab company, partner company, or transportation provider.

Trip Details

Provide the pickup address, drop-off address, ride date, approximate pickup time, destination, and passenger name used for the ride.

Item Description

Describe the lost item clearly, including brand, color, size, contents, case, bag, phone model, wallet type, or other identifying details.

Lost Item Process

TaxiWIS will review the information provided and attempt to identify the correct vehicle or ride. Lost item recovery is not guaranteed, but we will make reasonable efforts when accurate information is provided.
