  • Incorrect pickup details, wrong addresses, wrong dates, wrong times, or incomplete customer information may affect service, pricing, cancellation, or refund eligibility.

  • TaxiWIS does not intend to store full credit card numbers directly on the website.
  • Third-party payment providers may have their own privacy policies, security rules, refund rules, and processing terms.

SMS Text Messaging Privacy, Opt-In & Opt-Out

TaxiWIS, Taxi Wis, and Taxi Wisconsin may use SMS text messaging for reservation updates, payment authorization, pickup details, driver communication, booking changes, cancellation notices, customer verification, and service-related transportation messages.

SMS Opt-In Consent

  • By submitting an online reservation, requesting a ride, providing a phone number, texting TaxiWIS, calling dispatch, replying to a booking message, or providing payment information, the customer consents to receive service-related SMS text messages.
  • SMS messages may include reservation confirmation, pickup instructions, driver updates, payment links, payment authorization, cancellation notices, quote updates, identity verification, trip changes, and customer-service communication.
  • SMS consent is used for transportation service communication only.

SMS Opt-Out Instructions

  • Customers may opt out of SMS messages by replying STOP to a text message from TaxiWIS or the connected booking system.
  • After opting out, the customer may no longer receive text updates, payment links, booking confirmations, driver messages, or reservation reminders by SMS.
  • Opting out may prevent TaxiWIS from completing or confirming a reservation if SMS communication is required for payment authorization, identity verification, pickup coordination, or driver contact.

Effect of Opting Out

  • Replying STOP may trigger the TaxiWIS communication system or AI-assisted phone system to block the customer’s phone number from future SMS messages.
  • In some cases, opting out may also limit phone or dispatch communication from that number if the communication platform links voice and text services together.
  • If SMS communication is blocked, the customer may be required to contact TaxiWIS by email, website form, or another approved communication method.

SMS Help, Rates & Data Use

  • Customers may reply HELP when available for assistance with SMS communication.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer’s mobile carrier plan.
  • TaxiWIS may store SMS communications as part of reservation history, payment authorization, customer-service documentation, safety records, fraud prevention, chargeback defense, and legal compliance.
  • SMS information is not sold to advertisers.

TaxiWIS may record or monitor communications and transportation service activity for safety, verification, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal documentation.

Call, Text & Communication Recording

  • TaxiWIS may record phone calls, text messages, emails, online communications, booking messages, and service-related conversations.
  • Recorded communication may be used for dispatch accuracy, customer-service records, fraud prevention, payment disputes, chargeback defense, safety review, and legal compliance.
  • Customers should assume all service-related communication may be recorded or stored.

Vehicle Recording & Cameras

  • Vehicles may use audio recording, video recording, dash cameras, body cameras, AI recording glasses, or other safety-monitoring systems.
  • These systems may record passengers, drivers, conversations, vehicle surroundings, pickup locations, drop-off locations, and safety incidents.
  • Entry into the vehicle may constitute consent to safety recording where allowed by law.

AI-Assisted Monitoring

  • TaxiWIS may use AI-assisted tools to help review calls, messages, threats, harassment, fraud patterns, abusive conduct, fake bookings, and safety concerns.
  • AI systems may help identify threats, harassment, fraud, chargeback risk, abusive language, suspicious reservation activity, and repeated misuse of service.
  • AI tools may assist staff, but TaxiWIS may also review records manually.

  • TaxiWIS may disclose recordings, messages, customer information, trip details, payment records, or incident reports to law enforcement when necessary.
